At first glance, today’s image recording systems only appear to have minor differences from each other. But in practical use, the requirements by far exceed rudimentary functions such as continuous recording and event recording.
With HTrecord, HeiTel has developed a universal recording method to optimally exploit available storage capacity. Camera-selective memory allocation with freely selectable storage time, protection from unintentional over-writing of safety-related recordings, deletion of older pictures in full compliance to regulations, image quality that can be individually set independent of the image transmission rate, and the use of removable hard drives are all functions included in the basic features of HTrecord. In contrast to normal recorders, the basic recording methods have additionally been optimised for the widest range of uses within HTrecord. This includes event-controlled recording with freely configurable pre-alarm, main alarm and post-alarm phases as well as calendar control of continual recordings over various time zones with optional event optimisation to increase recording capacity.
In addition to classical video/audio recording, HTrecord also stores POS, ATM, GPS or IBIS data synchronous to the image, independent of the application used. The menu options with simplified functions for easy configuration of operating modes are also very helpful, as well as the automatic projection of the recording time in accordance to the recording criteria. Additionally, all recordings have been optimised for image export and efficient remote evaluation of archives via narrow-band transmission routes.
