IP Camera Integration
From firmware version 1.74 and CamControl LITE/PRO version 3.83 and higher,
IP cameras from various manufacturers will be supported by the CamTel SVR, CamDisc SVR/SVR s, Cam4mobile, CamServer and CamDisc HNVR device range.
At present only the JPEG or MJPEG image format is supported for the transfer of images from the IP camera to the HeiTel device. Ensure therefore that your camera transfers the images in a suitable format. Compressed video transfers with the standards H.264 or MPEG-4 are currently not supported. Please also refer to the Technical Product Information and the latest CamControl LITE manual and the CamControl PRO manual.
Currently selected IP camera models from the following manufacturers are supported:
ACTi, Axis, Arecont, Basler, Bosch, Canon, Dynacolor, Eneo, Honeywell, Hunt, Ipsotek, IQinVision, JVC, Mobotix, NoVus, Panasonic, Samsung Electronics, SANTEC, Sanyo, Siemens, Sony, Toshiba, Visicom
1. Integration via the device firmware:
The functional support for IP cameras is provided via the HeiTel device firmware. In the Recorder settings/IP Camera configuration dialogue, you can find IP cameras that are directly supported using the pull-down menus for manufacturer and camera model.

2. Integration via generic "GET" commands
HeiTel uses generic "GET" commands to offer the option of integrating additional IP cameras by direct http access. With some manufacturers you can also define image size, detail or resolution.
You cannot control PTZ functions using generic "GET" commands.
The CamControl LITE/PRO software also offers a selection of generic "GET" commands via the Examples... button.
Use this dialog to select from a list of preset generic "GET" commands the command sequence that best suits your IP camera and use the GENERIC 1 or GENERIC 2 buttons to indicate the manufacturer.
