CamDisc HNVR - Firmware Update

We strongly recommend the update of your CamDisc HNVR with the latest firmware. You will benefit from bug fixes and all new features of the CamDisc HNVR.

Please note that only the latest receiver software CamControl LITE or CamControl PRO supports all new features of the latest firmware release (see HNVR firmware history).

Latest HNVR Firmware

    (Support of all functions only with CamControl LITE 3.92/CamControl PRO 3.92 or higher)

    • New Web Server (V1.24):
      • Adjustments for CamControl MV implemented
    • Correction of NTP function (network time protocol)
    • Configuration of tamper input possible (NC or NO)
    • Audio live transmission and audio recording optimised (mandatory CamControlLITE/CamControlPRO version 3.92 or higher)
    • Support of IP cameras optimised:
      • IP address (or symbolic address) of IP cameras, can now be extended with a port address
      • Maximum resolution of 2560 x 1800 pixels for integrated IP cameras
      • Optimisation of recording and transmission
      • Improved support for Sanyo model VCC HD4000 P
      • Alternative video format MJPEG (streaming mode) for integrated IP cameras from the following vendors: Axis, Basler, Dynacolor and IQeye
      • Integration of IP camera; Samsung SNB-5000, using the video format MJPEG
      • Optimisation of PTZ control for Messoa NDZ860H2
    • POS filter adjusted for Cyrillic characters  (Russian)
    • Extension and corrections to a couple of PTZ protocols
    • Honeywell PTZ protocol implemented
    • Camera position authentication for analogue cameras revised and optimised:
      • Evaluation and recording of up to two reference images per camera channel (e.g. day and night)
      • A combination of device firmware V1.92 or higher and CamControl LITE/CamControl PRO software V3.92 is mandatory for parameterisation of the optimised camera position authentication
    • Improved E-Mail function: No alarm image will be sent in the case of technical alarms (defective hard disk, reboot or video loss)
    • USB direct connection improved
    • If applicable the error message "HARDDISK ERROR" could be merge into live images of IP cameras
    • Optimisations fort he usage of HYBRID Card 4 implemented:
      • Discrete logfile entry at  DSP error on HYBRID Card 4
      • Improved analogue digital conversion of analogue camera signals

    Note

    Download the update.bin and place the file on your PC according to the installation guide in the subdirectory /DEVICEUPDATES of your CamControl LITE directory (CamControl LITE 3.64 or newer).
    The update.bin is only intended for CamDisc HNVR devices!
