CamDisc SVR s/CamServer - Firmware Update
We strongly recommend the update of your CamDisc SVR s or CamServer 2 with the latest firmware. You will benefit from bug fixes and all new features of the CamDisc SVR s series or CamServer 2.
Please note that only the latest receiver software CamControl LITE or CamControl PRO supports all new features of the latest firmware release (see SVR s firmware history).

Latest SVR s Firmware
v2.02 2011-10-19
- Extended PTZ control via mouse cursor and joystick
- PTZ with manual speed control for IP cameras from Sanyo, Sony, Messoa, Vista, Dynacolor and Grundig
- Motion detection from Axis, Dynacolor and Grundig IP cameras integrated
- GPS function for 3G/GPS Module added (only for CamServer 2c).
Note: This feature is only supported with passive antennas that can optionally be obtained in specialist stores. - New Web Server (V1.29)
- New Web API (V1.8)
- Various bug fixes:
- PTZ control with Philips/Bosch software remote adapter corrected
- Users without passwords do not get password expire messages any longer
- Display problems with Axis 4 channel video server corrected
- Default settings for HD power down function modified: The hard drive now can be set to standby mode via "V out" and "Aux 2"
(Support of all functions only with CamControl LITE 4.06 / CamControl PRO 4.06 or higher)
Note
Download the update.bin and place the file on your PC according to the installation guide in the subdirectory /DEVICEUPDATES of your CamControl LITE directory (CamControl LITE 3.64 or newer).
The update.bin is only intended for CamDisc SVR s and CamServer devices!
